“ The Lectio Divina, the various opportunities for group sharing, the open forum conducted, the jovial exchange during meals, the communal prayers, the moments of recreation and the group outings, as well as the recollections, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharists were, among many other opportunities for cultural interaction helped us to share quality and meaningful time together.

“The intercultural experience lived by the Capitulants was remarkable considering that the membership of the 16th CICM General Chapter was a dynamic mix of cultures and nationalities.

There were 39 CICM capitulants, 2 facilitators and 4 Secretaries. The capitulants were of 9 nationalities, coming from 14 mission countries, and of 8 CICM provinces.

We gathered to convene the 16th General Chapter from June 4 to 30, 2023 at Centro Ad Gentes in Nemi, Italy.
